8 days ago it was 2008

I was at work for 10 hours on new years eve stuffed with a head cold and throat infection. But being doped up with nurofen helped an I managed to make it to my friend Lianne's House for a little get together.

Today has been brillant. It's been one of those 'I can't remember the last time I properly smiled' days. Met up with my lisa today who I havent seen in a couple of months as she's been away at uni ( she goes to Leeds ) That girl is the light of my life, ive missed her terribly, I'm so happy she's come home. We embraced each other for quite a while outside of french connection today, either because we missed each other or because of the terrible cold, I swear it was like -4 degree's today.



Our little reunion unfolded at pizza hut in the gate. And then went onto Frankie & Benny's for dessert and cocktail sours. I had bourbon, lisa had amaretto. And we shared the infamous Frankie & Benny's Cookie Sandwich:

Today has taught me that Bourbon makes me a christmas-friendly person. Me and lisa were actually singing christmas songs. On my part its very rare to hear me singing x-mas songs, but the alcohol made me merry :)



Also did some photography for my current project at college, 'The Street', my two ideas include Going up and down on esculators (i hope its not as pathetic as it sounds) and Fenwick's window.

I'll be taking more photos tomorrow when I meet up with Rachel. And then have them developed on saturday, just hope they all turn out alright
